Katra: Maa Vaishno Devi Darshan

A popular Hindu shrine and pilgrimage spot, Vaishno Devi is known to be another avatar of Goddess Laxmi. The Goddess is also fondly referred to as Mata Rani.

It's a place where all the devotees come to seek prayers after about 14 odd kilometres trek. The mandir lies up the hill, situated right in the middle of the mountain.

There are other facilities too, one such is helicopter from SanjiChhat.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board have managed the overall mandir in an organised manner right from ticket booking, each check post with two or more police for safety and guidance, online and offline services for donation, for reservation of the restrooms in Bhawan and many more.
