Mandawa- The heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan

Secluded from the outside world the havelis set their own pace of life. Mandawa was made a thikana in the mid of 18 th century by bhojraj ji kasub clan of shekhawati rajputs, Mandu jat was founder of Mandawa.

Mandawa, a small town in the district of jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) famous for it's havelis and fresco painting.

Marwaris erected buildings in their homeland, Shekhawati and Marwar as evidence of their success. These buildings were called Havelis.

Even in the digitized era, don't miss living in the historical period..

It is famous Bollywood shooting destination; some of them are Humma song from the movie Ok Jaanu, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, PK, jab we met, Mirziyan ,Sooper se opper, Zed plus, Dolly ki doli, Ae dil h mushkil, Half girlfriend and The daily soap “Pehredar piya ki “ and so on.



Old Shiv Mandir

A small mandir in the town of Mandawa has Crystal Stone Shivling, another attractive point, a very rare and beautiful for all the devotees.




Salasar Balaji or Salasar Dham


Salasar is a small town having the famous hanuman mandir, with soothing atmosphere.

Scenery side by side is outstanding and weather was pleasant to add on the trip.
